  4. Sustainable architecture could be defined as the creation of buildings for which only renewable resources are consumed throughout the process of design, construction and operation.

Uses a conscious approach to energy and ecological conservation in the design of the built environment.

The idea of sustainability, or ecological design, is to ensure that our actions and decisions today do not inhibit the opportunities of future generations.

  8. In my opinion Sustainable Architecture or also called "Green architecture", is an approach to building that minimizes harmful effects on human health and the environment. it's another level of Architecture in which the design is focused on making a building energy-efficient, so as to reduce its energy consumption, water consumption, operating costs, and environmental impact. Such efficiencies include the maximal use of natural lighting, low-e glass, solar electric systems, energy-efficient lighting systems, energy-efficient ventilation systems including the use of the chimney effect, and newer sustainable materials and techniques that minimize heat loss in buildings.

The "green" architect or designer attempts to safeguard air, water, and earth by choosing eco-friendly building materials and construction practices.
Green architecture may have many of these characteristics:
•Ventilation systems designed for efficient heating and cooling
    •Energy-efficient lighting and appliances
    •Water-saving plumbing fixtures
•Landscapes planned to maximize passive solar energy
•Minimal harm to the natural habitat
•Alternate power sources such as solar power or wind power
    •Non-synthetic, non-toxic materials
    •Locally-obtained woods and stone
    •Responsibly-harvested woods
    •Adaptive reuse of older buildings
    •Use of recycled architectural salvage
    •Efficient use of space

  9. The Sustainable Architecture is an ecologically intelligent approach to architecture using and creating materials that will both compliment and restore the planet.

Green buildings promote resource conservation, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, and water conservation features; consider environmental impacts and waste minimization; create a healthy and comfortable environment; reduce operation and maintenance costs; and address issues such as historical preservation, access to public transportation and other community infrastructure systems.

  10. the Sustainable architecture, also known as "green architecture," holds the philosophy that the design of a building or home should have the least impact on its environment possible. Every component in a building or home, whether it is affected by its environment or whether it affects its environment, can comprise sustainable architecture. These green architecture components can include passive and active heating and cooling, renewable building materials, water conservation methods, building design, and natural and artificial lighting.

  14. From my point of view is routed architecture projects friendly to the ambient
In Mexico there is some awareness of bioclimatic or sustainable architecture , but has not yet done so massive . Only in some parts of the Republic have launched mega projects sustainable , for example, in Yucatan , Jalisco , Chiapas , and others.
The principles of sustainable architecture include:
Considering the weather, hydrography and ecosystems of the environment in which buildings are constructed
Efficiency and restraint in the use of construction materials
Reducing energy consumption for heating, cooling , lighting . Covering the remaining demand with renewable energy sources
The minimization of the global energy balance of the building , covering the design, construction, use and end of life.
Compliance with the requirements of comfort , health , lighting and occupancy of buildings.

  15. The term sustainable development means that builders, architects, designers, community planners, and real estate developers strive to create buildings and communities that will not deplete natural resources. The goal is to meet today's needs using renewable resources so that the needs of future generations will be provided for.
Sustainable development attempts to minimize greenhouse gases, reduce global warming, preserve environmental resources, and provide communities that allow people to reach their fullest potentials.

  17. Sustainable architecture seeks to optimize natural resources and building systems in order to minimize the environmental impact of the buildings to the environment and its inhabitants.
Looking generate living spaces in which the use of electricity is not indispensable, using passive systems that capture and keep the solar energy, wind energy etc..

  18. Green architecture is a choice but to innovate in solving common problems but also promoting care for the environment
I think when we talk about green architecture or sustainable we can say that we talk about new contributions that contribute to global warming share

  20. Sustainable architecture is architecture which is designed in an environmentally friendly way. The goal of sustainable or “green” architecture is to create structures which are beautiful and functional, but which also contribute to a sustainable lifestyle and culture. Interest in sustainable architecture grew radically in the early 21st century in response to growing concerns about the environment, but in fact people have been building sustainably for thousands of years, because sustainable projects are often practical in nature.

  21. Sustainable architecture is a division in the architecture looking for alternative ways of construction protecting the enviornment using renewable resources.

    ReplyDelete
  22. sustainable architecture is to optimize natural resources by designing this for user comfort, care also does not cause a high environmental impact at the time of implantation in the surrounding natural environment

    ReplyDelete
  23. I argue that sustainable architecture is called green or ecological architecture as it seeks to use mostly natural resource base as well as using natural sources and renovablespara enrgia achieve reduce the impact of environmental pollution.

  24. Sustainable architecture will be that guarantees the maximum level of well-being and development of the users and that makes possible by means of the pertinent actions the major degree of well-being and development of the future generations, and in addition the maximum integration of the buildings in his natural environment.
Sustainable architecture will have than: Optimization of the resources and materials of built, use of the renewable energies, decrease the pollution, dicrease of the maintenance and garantice the quality of the life of the habitants.

  25. Is sustainable architecture, seeking to optimize natural resources for the proper functioning of the building so that minimize environmental impact.
The pricipios of this architecture include:
    Consider climatic conditions
    Moderate use construcion materials
    Reduction of energy consumption
    Conford and sanitation.

It is this requrimientos meet comfortably, without affecting the resources of the future, so the concept of sustainable development is based on three principles.
The life cycle analysis of materials
The development of use of premiums materials and renewable energies
Energy used in the extraction of resources, their exploitation, destruction or recycling of waste.

  28. Is a way to build minimizing environmental impact, which creates a connection between nature and architecture, because both respect themselves and create a totally nice to the site where it is built.

    ReplyDelete
  29. For me the sustainable architecture is architecture that seeks to reduce the environmental impacts of buildings. It's like an ecological architecture, green.
Also looking store natural resources for future generations. The edificos built with this architecture are ecological.

  31. The sustainable architecture seeks to reduce damage to the ecosystem by creating buildings that take advantage of the resources found in the surrounding space, some elements or energy sources are: Air, Water, and others. Which is great for countries with problems of shortage of resources or the excessive use of non-renewable energies.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Sustainable architecture is focusing on renewable energy, sustainable materials, water conservation, site development and environmental quality. Green design and construction not only helps cut down on emissions released into the ozone, but also helps significantly reduce energy, water and HVAC costs.
The whole purpose behind sustainable building is to preserve our environment and avoid the depletion of the earth’s natural resources.
Not only does sustainable building improve the quality of our environment but it also has many economic benefits as well. By using sustainable materials, reducing energy consumption, and improving water efficiency.
